Born in 1981. He has worked extensively in magazines, books, and advertisement, focusing on reportage and portraiture. At the same time, he has produced works on the theme of "Landscapes created by human activities” in Japan and abroad.
Recent works include "Cultivators," depicting agricultural landscapes throughout Japan, “Koyomi-gawa", which examines the connection between rivers and people, and "Topography of Light," for which he traveled around the peninsula and photographed the climate and lifestyle of Japan.
His latest work is “Sleeping Island," a collection of photographs about the depopulation on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea,
published by Kehrer in Germany.
