同時に国内外で「人の営みがつくる風景」をテーマに作品を制作。
近年は日本全国の農風景を撮影した『耕す人』、川と人のつながりを考える『暦川』、
半島を旅し日本の風土と暮らしを撮った『光の地形』などを発表。
最新作は瀬戸内の島に起こる過疎化をテーマに写真集『眠る島』、ドイツのKehrer社から出版。
2012年 日本写真協会新人賞
Born in 1981. He has worked extensively in magazines, books, and advertisement, focusing on reportage and portraiture. At the same time, he has produced works on the theme of "Landscapes created by human activities”
in Japan and abroad.
Recent works include "Cultivators," depicting agricultural landscapes throughout Japan, “Koyomi-gawa", which examines the connection between rivers and people, and "Topography of Light," for which he traveled around the peninsula and photographed the climate and lifestyle of Japan.
His latest work is “Sleeping Island," a collection of photographs about the depopulation on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea,
published by Kehrer in Germany.
